This gorgeous sampler quilt of stitching, patchwork, English paper piecing & appliqué in Quilt-As-You-Go blocks is a bright and quirky design to feature a range of favourite fabrics and skill sets.

The pattern contains 38 pages of inspirational photos, detailed colour diagrams for cutting your fabrics, step-by-step piecing instructions, quilt guide, colouring page, templates and more!

You’ll Need – (please refer to “Requirements” image for detailed quantities)

Madge's Garden Template Pack (optional)
Low volume background fabrics – I used 35cm of each of 6 different fabrics in a range of cotton/linen blends
Scraps of fabric for patchwork, English paper piecing and appliqué – (the Madge’s Garden Quilt Starter Kit is a great place to start!)
40cm of cream linen for embroidered blocks
50cm of lightweight iron-on stabiliser
80cm of fabric for QAYG strip fabric (green strips between blocks)
55cm of Binding fabric or 7.5m of pre-made binding
4.2m of fabric for backing or 1.75m of wide-back fabric
2m x 2m of quilt wadding/batting
Selection of embroidered doilies to epicycle (optional)
4 packs of Kitty Crush Stick & Stitch (you could use other stitchery designs if cats aren’t your thing!)
Embroidery thread – DMC #3863 (or a similar medium – dark brown)
Sewline Trio Fabric Pencil or Sewline Trio Colours Fabric Pencil
Invisafil Thread – I used Colour #718 – Winet Grey Sky
Sewline Glue Pen & Refills
Roxanne’s Glue Baste – Dip & Dab
Whoops-a-Daisy Thread Balm
