The continuation of the Daisy Hexies stitchery pattern, the Daisy Hexies Quilt is a sampler of sorts of English Paper Pieced hexagons and clamshells, utilising the Amy Kallissa + Eppiflex Clamshell Guides.

The pattern contains detailed colour diagrams with step by step instructions for piecing, use of clamshell guide and sewing construction.

Pattern Note: This pattern does not include template shapes for tracing as it uses ready made Eppiflex templates.

You’ll Need:

A collection of fabrics for hexagons, clamshells and orange peels
– I used a 3 packs of pre-cut 1” Liberty hexagons and scraps of Liberty from my stash for clamshells and orange peels
30cm of Cream linen (includes enough for Daisy Hexies Panel)
50cm of lightweight iron-on stabiliser
80cm of Essex Yarn Dyed in Steel
35cm of Liberty Tana Lawn – outer border
1.1m of Backing fabric – I used Dusk Till Dawn – Moon Flower – Moss
30cm of Binding fabric or 4.3m of pre-made Binding – I used Libby A – Pre-made Liberty Bias Binding
115cm x 115cm of quilt batting
