SOHMO Scallop Scissors - 10mm

The SOHMO Scallop Scissors (10mm) cut a generous, rounded 10mm scallop with each pass, sharp enough to go through felt and fabric cleanly without tearing or bunching at the curves. At 10mm each scallop is clearly visible - ideal for decorative borders on clothing, hems, cuffs, and collar edges, as well as felt craft projects, fabric banners, and any work where the scallop is meant to be noticed. The larger arc also makes it easier to align repeat cuts along a straight edge, which is useful for long borders and continuous decorative trims.

Like the rest of the SOHMO Decorative Scissors range, the handles are made from lightweight ABS plastic. Decorative scissors have wider, heavier blades than standard scissors, and keeping the handles light keeps the overall weight manageable over a long crafting session.

The blades are coated stainless steel, finished in black with the SOHMO logo laser-etched directly onto the blade.

A note on paper: Scallop scissors cut paper beautifully, but paper dulls blades faster than fabric. If you do a lot of both, keeping a dedicated pair for paper is worth it - your fabric cuts will stay cleaner for longer.

Care: Wipe blades clean after use. Apply a small amount of oil near the pivot screw periodically to keep the action smooth.
