Little Neighbourhood Quilt Pattern

The Little Neighbourhood Quilt by Claire Freund of The Stitch Saloon is part quilt, part play mat and a whole lot of imagination. Create a charming little world of houses, winding roads, trees and all the little details that make a neighbourhood feel like home.

This beautifully presented 32 page pattern booklet, complete with planning guides and printed templates is a choose your own adventure, so you can let your imagination run wild with all the different combinations of roads, houses and trees to create your own unique play mat. It includes instructions to make each of the different road, house and tree blocks and how to put them all together into a layout of your choosing. The pattern also includes a few example layouts for some suggested sizes and the number of each block needed for those who want to follow a guide, rather than designing your own play mat from scratch.  

Size: Whatever you want it to be! The choose your own adventure style of the pattern means you can make it whatever size you like based on a finished block size of 8". For reference, the cover quilt is 56" x 56" (7 blocks x 7 blocks). Suggested layouts and sizes can be seen in the listing photo also. 

Skill Level: Intermediate, but all skill levels are welcome

Fabric Requirements: See listing photo for fabric requirements. Please keep in mind these are suggested fabric requirements based on the example layouts included in the pattern and you may need more or less of each fabric based on the size of your quilt and the blocks you choose to use - e.g. if you are not doing as many houses and trees, you may need more grass fabric than what is suggested. As the pattern allows so much freedom and customisation, it's not quite possible to state exactly how much fabric you will need for your personal project.
